Have some ground turkey and wondering what to make? Try this Gluten Free Turkey Meatloaf! Grill or bake in the oven for a simple, healthy and filling meal the whole family will enjoy!
Gluten Free Turkey Meatloaf is easy to prepare, especially when you make it on the grill.
My Gluten Free Turkey Meatloaf is made with ingredients that you probably have on hand in your pantry.
Using ground turkey in meatloaf can be a healthier option, provided that you choose the same ratio of lean meat to fat as the beef you’re comparing it to.
Grilling your meatloaf (instead of baking it) is a great way to add extra flavor and reduce the mess in the kitchen. Plus, you can cook your meatloaf up with a variety of sides right on the grill.
Ingredients You’ll Need To Make Gluten Free Turkey Meatloaf:
- ground turkey
- gluten free panko breadcrumbs *
- milk (regular or dairy free**)
- salt
- herb and garlic seasoning
- egg
- BBQ sauce***
- tomato paste
- brown sugar
*When using gluten free panko breadcrumbs for meatloaf and meatballs, I’ve found that using half the amount yields the best results. If using regular panko breadcrumbs use 1/2 cup panko and 1/2 cup milk.
**Any dairy or unsweetened unflavored non dairy milk will work.
***Check BBQ sauce, seasoning, and other ingredients to ensure it meets your needs for being gluten or dairy free.
