What veggie isn't delicious wrapped in bacon? This Grilled Bacon Wrapped Asparagus is simple and quick to make and the perfect side for any grilled meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 8 slices precooked bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to around 400 degrees
  • Trim ends from asparagus and toss with olive oil and seasoning
  • Create bundles by grouping 3-4 pieces of asparagus and wrapping with a slice of bacon until secure
  • Place bundled asparagus carefully on grill
  • Grill for 15 minutes or until asparagus is crisp tender and bacon is crispy

Notes

  • be sure to use the pre-cooked bacon that you can purchase instead of bacon you need to cook. This will ensure the asparagus doesn't burn while the bacon gets crispy
