Grilled Salmon Burgers

Who says burgers are boring? These salmon burgers are not only healthy but also a change from the usual! With fresh dill and fired over the grill, these will quickly become your new favorite burger recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds wild Alaskan sockeye salmon
  • 1 oz roughly chopped shallot
  • 1 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

Instructions

  • Remove skin from salmon and roughly chop
  • Add to food processor along with shallot, garlic, egg, almond flour and salt
  • Pulse a few times until finely chopped but not completely blended
  • Stir in dill
  • Form into 6 equal sized burger patties
  • Brush burgers with a little cooking oil on each side
  • Preheat indoor or outdoor grill to 375 degrees F
  • Place burgers on grill and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through

Notes

  • Finely dice shallot and mix by hand if you don't have a food processor
