Honey Mustard Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon herb and garlic seasoning
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon stone ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  • preheat grill to medium heat (around 375 degrees F)
  • pat salmon dry and brush with olive oil
  • sprinkle evenly with seasoning
  • Place salmon skin side down on grill
  • in the meantime, whisk together remaining ingredients to make honey mustard
  • Grill salmon for 8 minutes, then brush with honey mustard and continue grilling for 2-4 minutes until cooked through
  • Remove from grill and let rest, remove skin if desired
  • Serve with additional honey mustard as desired

Notes

  • Add or reduce lime juice to adjust consistency
  • Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork
  • Leave skin on while cooking.  Remove when done after letting it rest a few minutes
