Ingredients You’ll Need To Make Lemon Butter Scallops

olive oil
old bay or cajun seasoning
butter (regular or dairy free)
jarred minced garlic

How To Make Lemon Butter Gilled Scallops…
- Pat scallops dry and place in shallow dish
- Drizzle with oil and seasoning to coat well
- Soften butter and mix with garlic
- Set aside in fridge for later
- Preheat grill to medium high heat (around 375 degrees F) and also preheat a small cast iron skillet on the grill
- Place scallops directly on grill
- Cook 2-3 minutes on each side Add butter to skillet and let melt
- Add scallops and cook 1 minute or so on each side to sear with butter
Cook scallops until they turn opaque. Overcooking will make them rubbery and cause them to lose flavor.
