Pro Tips…
Mixing the salmon by hand is just as effective as using a food processor. However, if anyone in your family has difficulty with textures, using a food processor is the way to make a smoother feeling burger.
Consider using wild caught salmon instead of farm raised salmon when you make Grilled Salmon Burgers. Wild caught salmon contains more nutrients, fewer pollutants and toxins, and it has a lower impact on the environment.
Keeping almond flour on hand is a good idea… especially if you plan to begin making the change to a gluten-free lifestyle. It’s used in many gluten-free recipes and you can buy large bags of it at Costco and other “big box” stores. Itโs also readily available at most all supermarkets or to order on amazon.
