Plus, this superfood is a mood booster! The B vitamins contained in salmon support brain function and the fatty acids increase serotonin production which helps elevate mood.
Salmon is a smart choice for quick and healthy dinners. It’s easy to grill indoors or outdoors. (I used my Ninja Foodie grill.)
The honey mustard sauce in this recipe adds a ton of extra flavor. That extra flavor will have people who think they don’t like fish asking for seconds.
Ingedients You’ll Need To Make Honey Mustard Salmon…
- salmon fillets
- olive oil
- herb and garlic seasoning
- mayo
- yellow mustard
- stone ground mustard
- BBQ sauce
- honey
- lime juice
How To Make Honey Mustard Salmon…
- preheat grill to medium heat (around 375 degrees F)pat salmon dry and brush with olive oil
- sprinkle evenly with seasoning
- Place salmon skin side down on grill
- in the meantime, whisk together remaining ingredients to make honey mustard
- Grill salmon for 8 minutes, then brush with honey mustard and continue grilling for 2-4 minutes until cooked through
- Remove from grill and let rest, remove skin if desired
- Serve with additional honey mustard as desired
Pro Tips…
The sauce in this recipe is a little different than your typical honey mustard. Give it a try… it has a ton of unique flavor that will make even skeptics say, “Yum!”
Adjust the consistency of your honey mustard by adding or reducing the amount of lime juice used. You can also adjust for taste.
Your salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
It’s best to leave the salmon’s skin on while cooking. It will remove easily when the fish is done cooking. Just let it rest a few minutes before removing skin and serving.

Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets

- 1 teaspoon herb and garlic seasoning
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon stone ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
